and yes i have been eating chocolate before i can even consider 

what to concoct for dinner so hence 4:00 ;)

oh hello, I didn't see you there. I'm so glad you stopped by to check out the new decor! I did a little remodeling here on the blog as you can see ;) if you're reading this in an email or a reader please do take a little tour online by clicking here. thanks!

I decided to make "pages" with cute buttons there at the top under "scrapbook society" and I cleaned up my sidebar a bit. I changed some colors, and some fonts and stuff - being a font girl ;)

I have been working away on a new blog schedule as far as what to post when, so be tuning in for that :) I have also been working on some sweet, sweet cards! Here's a sneak peek:

Creative Juices

I have been trying to scrape up some creative juices, but I am at such a loss. For some weird reason I feel so depleted; stuck in a rut. Is it that I am switching gears from summer to fall with new school schedules and all that follows? Is it a biological issue? Yes I know I told you I am weird, well I could drink more water and maybe down an espresso shot?!! Maybe I am just overwhelmed - designing the school's website and buried in orders? These are all blessings that I should be rejoicing in and not complaining about!

Pray for all moms everywhere today to feel more gratitude with their many blessings and to enjoy each moment with their children and to get those creative juices flowing or motived to get the day's work done. Where are you at right now? What struggles are you having - be they little or big, struggles are struggles! Last week I made a card for a good friend with this quote on the front. I hope it motivates/inspires you even if just for today...

Fall Boutique

Mom

my mom came to visit.
we had such a lovely time.
we played on the beach.

brown butter cookie company

we just had to stop at the brown butter
cookie company yesterday.
if you have never tried their delectable delights,
you are truly missing out!

i have no idea how they do it. it seems simple,
yet amazingly delish!

they make cookies that are to die for!

i treated my mom and the kids... and myself ;) to their
original and the cocoa
i LOVE both {so sweet}

and in honor of font of the week I choose some fonts
that are close to the brown butter cookie company's fonts ;)

i believe they use baskerville in capital letters for
"brown butter cookie company"

and they chose a very sweet font for "cookies".
i found one that is similar but not exact... fling

i love how they paired these fonts for such sweet packaging!
